MONTESSORI ASSISTANT TRAINING COURSE

3-6 years old
This course equips you to integrate Montessori pedagogy, focusing on ages 3 to 6, into your professional practice.
The course is bilingual (French-English), meaning that classes will be conducted in both languages.
Upon completion, you will possess the skills to serve as a Montessori assistant in a class for children aged 3 to 6 years old.
The role of the assistant is to foster an environment conducive to the children's development, according to their pace and stage of development guided by a Montessori educator.

Prerequisites
This training is open to the general public.
Early childhood professionals (3-6 years):
aiming to integrate the Montessori approach in their professional practice
and/or seeking to work in a Montessori school as an assistant
The training is accessible to an audience who meets the following criteria:
Baccalaureate
Or
CAP early childhood
Or
Early childhood professionals with
over 3 years of experience
Program Day 1 to Day 9
From Day 1 to Day 3: Introduction to Maria Montessori’s approach
= 22 hours online

The course will be hosted by two AMI qualified educators
Course duration
48 hours of theory
online or onsite
16 hours of observation
• days 1, 2 and 3 online
• days 4 and 5 observation in a Montessori school
• days 6, 7, 8, and 9 onsite at the training center
